I've finally got a job and my first check, I work at el pollo loco now, and its pretty cool.

I learned a lot of things already and i'm training for a management position.

also, my video game show is taking off, I've been noticed by a company named Games on Smash.com and they are going to give me free games to review before they are released.

Plus if I bring in a lot of views with my videos, I can make some money on the side.

Its very very cool.

Life is getting better, soon I'm sure money will become more stable soon.

What I want for XMAS....lol. I'm so broke...

So pretty much I'm broke, broke, broke... and I decided to make a list of things I want.
Cause I'm bored and nobody reads this anyways.

I've been playing GEARS OF WAR 2 a lot. OMG that game is brilliant!! So of course after spending so much time killer the Locusts I would like to sport my gamer chick geekiness with this shirt from JINX.com LOCUST EXTERMINATOR, killing Locust, taking out the hoard. ;)

I just love Jinx.com and their amazing gamer shirts that all mean a lot to me.
Man I wish I could work for them, I'd have a blast!

BOOM HEADSHOT!! Muhahahaha sniping has its strong points.
Maybe its a woman power thing I dunno. Its awesome being a gamer. I haven't had this much fun playing games in a while.

Another game that looks so really awesome is Left 4 dead.
its all about killing zombies and surviving. I must admit this game scares me sometimes but it makes horror games fun for me. Silent Hill and fatal frame games always scared me a lot. too much to really play.

Since its from the makers of half life and portal, it really makes the game play much easier and makes the characters at least seem like they have chance of survival. I really dig the demo and hope I get it for Christmas or something. That would be pretty awesome.

There are so many things I want. I want my own kitchen, a dr. pepper machine, a flying magical car that runs on happiness and dreams... I want it all.

I want the christina aguilera album. Of course.

Weee Las Vegas is a very fun place. This is the first "massive" I actually could really get down cause I had SPACE!! Amazing concept, I know. I had a blast, it was a non-stop good time over there.

ok so LoveFest for me was AMAZING! Out of ten I'd give it a 9. No ten because I got hit in my eye when it was open by a stringer, and got really sick late Sunday night. Got stuck in the elevator in the "abigail" hotel and havinga mini clastraphobic attack didn't help either.

BUT let me tell you all the amazing things about the party.
EVERYTHING!

pre-meet was huge! I met so many new faces, so many old friends, got to really hang out with more people. Got to know more of you, and meet magic man! Then of course the Denny's adventure was epic.

The parade was a blast, naked old men, topless girls, crazy hippies chasing floats, getting CD's thrown at me, water squirted at me, and of course I got to see the "reel mobile" which was decked out with moving movie reels.

Totally insane! Reminds me of how much I loved NorCal parties, you guys are nuts down there!

I loved the skills float, Alain Octavio was sick!! As well as Deep Voices (too bad their set powered out for 10 min in the middle of their set.)

The random hotel party was a blast...lol. OMG Kael the pimp! hahahah. I think we kinda creeped out who worked their when he saw all of us go to the room. "wait all of you are going to their room? nevermind do what you want...." (ratio of guys to girls was the same BTW) lol.

The after party was SOOOO FREAKING AMAZING! This was the very first party I ever went too that had sick sets the ENTIRE night!

ATB throwing down the orignal smells like teen spirit in there... OMG!!! then Armin tossed in a remix later. Killer Killer Sets. Most of the time I don't really pay attention to the music.

But it was too good this year around.

I met a lot of people, I hung out with a lot of people, and I had a lot of awesome memories from last year which gave me so much nostaliga and happiness. I didn't pass out at 2am this year. I got to be with Patrick this year, I got to see Lee again! I got a lot of random people saying "OMG are you Ravergirl?"lol. Man even in NorCal I have fans! LOL. You guys are so amazing.

Lets see if I can get all the people a shout out.

Money. Work,and lack of...

Well when it seemed like my world was crashing down, Life came through this week for me.

Let me explain my absence of onlineness.

I moved to LA, now living with the boyfriend.
Got a job for a company that did "direct marketing"
Turned out to be door to door sales...

Money was made solely on comission...
not for me.

So I quit on monday. SUCKS, cause now I'm freaking out a bit on money...

but then... My mom got out my savings account and I can BREATHE again!!

So life is looking pretty good again.
Even in a shitty economy, life can shed some light on who I am as a person.

Gosh I love that hat... I bought it in San Diego...
I'm working on it... Its weird not living in San Diego anymore, but to be honest, its better for me. I need to get into my career. I really do. So I've been working on a website. YES a new website! All about me, so its like my online portfolio. Maybe I can get some work that way, or maybe someone will see it and see my talents.

Gotta do all I can. Maybe I can go and film weddings with Matt, start a business somehow. I know it can work, it has too. I've done a lot of work in the past for demo reels and such, maybe I can spotlight that on my website.

Its going to be beautiful. Blue color scheme really pop. you know? Just like me. :P

Leaving San Diego

I'm leaving San Diego and moving into Patrick's house in Diamond Bar, CA. How strange and fast things come into your life. I'm very excited, yet nervous. I've never moved out before. In fact I've lived in San Diego for my whole life. The thought of moving gets me excited. New worlds to discover, new lifestyle to be brought on. A chance for me to finally get near that Hollywood town and really show my potential. I'm moving to get closer to the film industry, and Patrick loves my motivation. It aspires great things.

My parents don't really want me moving in with Patrick, but they respect my choices in life. They know I'm doing it for my career. They know I'm really going to try my best and kick ass out there in the "real world". I will struggle, I will hurt, and I will finally be free.

Moving out @ 22 years old. Making a living, and reaching out for my career. Its so close, I can almost taste it.

So much I need to do, but I'm not sure how to really get it all done.
I'm not feeling 100% confident as I do at times.

But I'm not too far from home. Hour and a half drive isn't too bad. I know I'm gonna miss my friends from here. I'm going to miss my life here, and realize how easy everything was.

But honestly, I think this will really push me towards my goal. I know Patrick is there to help me.

He's my soul mate, my other half, and if I were to get married now, even my parents would approve.

I'm not getting married now, settling in and career comes first.
But it would be nice to be Mrs. Patrick Michael Chien.

Life will be experienced in High Def for me at the end of this month.

Congrats, I will be poor, stressed, and TOTALLY excited!!

I don't know if I can even make SD meet up 10 really happen...

don't you hate it when you dream about work? It sucks. at least my dreams weren't nightmares like back in the bagel job days. This time it was more stuck at the register taking orders for hours upon hours.

I hate work dreams, it means there really has only been one thing on my mind. I hate that.

Can you believe it? People stopped me at the party and told me that they recognized me from youtube. Me? They walked up to me and hugged me as if I were famous.
"OMG are you Ravergirl?"
"dude dude, this chick is a LEGEND, she has amazing videos on youtube."
"Remember that video I couldn't stop talking about last week.... THIS IS THE CHICK!!!"
People came down from everywhere it was awesome. People from the balcony came down to say hello to me.

Besides the internet fame, I has a lot of fun spending my time dancing around getting a lot of hugs and hanging out with Patrick, Andrei and the gs.cers who made it.

Breakfast was the opening act, he played "waiting here for you" by thrill seekers... and that's like Patrick and I's SONG. So it was aweosme.

Ferry Corsten Dropped FIRE, and BEAUTIFUL... that made the night. Everyone went nuts! Best songs ever, cleanest DJing ever. Great night.

Smallest venue I've ever been too. I felt like I was in a slightly bigger high school gym.

Patrick and I went to his storage unit and he gave me his 27 inch flat screen TV. Its so pretty. I like it a lot.

Patrick is awesome.
What can I say, I'm crazy about the guy.

Over all really awesome weekend that I wish could never end.
Now I gotta work 6 days in a row, Boo.

That's right, no ranting, no mater how much I really want to about work... grrr.

ok so in other non-ranting about how communication and the human race just doesn't work all the time....

I usually dream about ideas for videos and films and such.
But I've never had one re-occur multiple times. So now I got this video idea, stuck in my brain. I want to be featured on youtube, I want people to see my insanity of brainness...less? Ok no I'm crazy. Or maybe because its midnight and I've been kinda pissed off all day.

I went from happiness to T'd off, how did that happen?

So back to my idea. Wow its hard not to rant.
Anyways, I got this music video idea. Its gonna be insane. I think I can do it, but I'm gonna need a lot of help with camera stuff, I need to learn green screen and aquire one, and perhaps take my sweet time with this one. I don't wanna mess it up. Its been something in my brain for a while and I really want to make it how I envision it.

I dunno, my brain feels kinda maxed out at the moment.
Maybe I should just get some rest.

Rainbow Sherbert and happiness

Patrick and I like to have our adventures. Yesterday was one of them. We went out shopping, and then I decided just to drive along the coast from Del Mar to La Jolla. Showing him where I lived. The beauty of Del Mar and its beaches, the amazingness of my home town. He thought that was awesome. We managed making our way to UTC and shopping there, finding deals, having fun, and enjoying each others company. Gosh, even just shopping with him is fun. I like that a lot. We got some new toys! I bought Orange box for the 360. Cool stuff, Portal is shaping up to be pretty cool.
Team Fortress is really fast game play, and I haven't tried half life yet.

On our way home from shopping, Patrick was like... "Lets get rainbow sherbert!" like OMG, how does he know my secret passion for this fantastic dessert? I don't remember telling how that that one in perticular was my favorite. Maybe that's why I like him so much.... he just KNOWS what I love and LOVES it too.

Every time I see you Patrick its an adventure, and I can't wait till FERRY!! YAY next weekend is gonna be epic!! :)

Weird dreams and things

Man I slept for way to long today. I had this weird dream that kinda freaked me out.

There was this crazy obsessive chick. She was so white, her skin was translucent, and her hair was blondish white. She had these creepy light blue eye that never blinked. She was chasing me. I'm not sure why, but she was trying to kill me.

She moved really fast, sped around everywhere in the blink of an eye. I locked all the windows and doors, and she still found a way into my house it was way creepy.

She managed to catch up to me, and I stuck my hand in her face to block her, and she bit my hand.

I look down in my dream, and I see that its bleeding a lot.
I think I said something to her along the lines of "wtf is wrong with you? WTF are you?!?!"

and I woke up. Then was like... "woah weird" and fell back asleep to dream of something totally different.

When I fell back alseep I dreamt I was on a cruise ship, and my friends were trying to get me to jump off the boat cause it would look "cool". I was also a professional diver in my dream. I refused, and then saw other people jumping off the boat.

On a real life note, I got my new digital camera! YAY!
I ended up snaping some pics of my bumper sticker, my dogs, and poker last night. Yay for randomness. Poker was fun with the boys though, I brought over scene it and forgot the sensor for the controllers so we used our ROCK BAND guitars. Awesome. Dan kicked ass, of course. Overall a fun night. I learned how to play texas hold 'em better, and got to play games with friends. YAY.

A report about how "God's basement" is promoting all sorts of illegal drugs and crap.

Its amazing how you can spin a story with editing, bias, and showing only one point of view. Thus why many don't like Michael Moore... but that's beyond the point.

Ravers are stereotyped, Kids who pop "e" like candy, listen to techno music, and get crazy messed up just to get messed up. But that's not really what its about at all.

I'm a sober raver.
Always have been, always will be.

For me there are no drugs needed to feel the vibe at a good party.
Electronica music is a natural high, the dance beats per minute betweeen 130-135, the synths, the tones, the trippy bandwith transitions, its all meant to make you feel euphoric. You can't help but smile when your there. You can feel the endorphines blurring through your brain, you chest leaps to the music, and your happy.

For me its about the vibe of a good party. I hang out with the sober crowd, or keep an eye on those who might need help. Its called watching each others backs, always being there for one another. Give a lightshow, enjoy the scene.

If you party with me, you know that I honestly don't need drugs to feel higher than most people there. All I need is a good vibe, good music, and a good group of friends to dance with. Then the night is set for epicness.

That's what really makes me mad though. The people who don't get it, the people who focus all their attention on the negative. Yes, promoters always try for drug free, and its those crazy ravers who sneak in drugs. People sneak in everything to anything.

C'mon who hasn't snuck in food to the movies? You can't stop everything. even if you really try.

People can't let go though. Through the years, I've learned a lot about people. Don't try to change people. Don't force your own ideals on people. People tend to listen better by following your set example. People call me smart for never experimenting with drugs. I've been looked up to for it. Some people want to change to be like me. I don't force them. I learned that the people I usually chill with, are the people who don't do those kind of drugs anyways.

What the Rave scene is really about is Respect. Respect for the indiviual, and respect for the party. All the party is for is fun. So you hug your friends, dance the night away, and play with glowly lights and amusing yourself and others.

You'll sweat out the bad vibes, the negativity, and the real unforgiving world.... just for one night.

That's what makes it worth it.

weekend full of the Patrick

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Patrick with with me almost the entire time. Friday night he came down and we went and played lasertag, met up with Kaylan and his girl and had a blast. Saturday he spend the morning with me, until I went to work and then hung out with me at work. That was fun, I liked that a lot. Made my night go by much easier. Sunday was total Kristen Patrick day! Despite the crazy neighbor kids we ended up having fun, shopping at best buy, watching movies, and I spun fire.

This boy makes my heart melt. We played Scene it a bunch of times and it was a blast, Patrick kicks ass at this game! :) So if we ever play teams, I got the smart guy on mine. :)

Meet up with Ken

If you guys remember this... RGTV- STOLE MY BOYFRIEND.

Then you'll remember Ken.
Ken is Unassuming from gs.c he's a New Jersey Ballroom dancer with a lot of passion.

Today we went to a hip hop dance class in Mira Mesa, it was a lot of fun. We took a master class.. I forgot how fast paced those were. Then the class AFTER was innermediate of course, but we had fun none-the-less. So it was face paced, full of technique, and excitement. Who knows, I might get back into it again. But its expensive, so we'll see.

I forgot what a good work out it is. Yay for dancing, building up a sweat then taking Ken to in-n-out... something not on the east coast.He's like "this is the place with the animal style fries right?" lol. Cali has taught him well.

Then after that I took his back to his cousin or a cousin's house... and it was like a huge family reunion. We took some video of us sessioning, and his family was amused, and a lot of them came out and watched. It was pretty awesome. His Dad knows who crystal method and BT are. lol.

We filmed about half an hour of footage or so, I can tell he's really starting to get back into the glowsticking now that he has time. Full time college is hardcore. He thinks full time work and school is more hardcore... I think I'm just used to it.

I showed him some tricks from pac-man, some of the craziness that I did in dedication, and just some crazy ideas that I might have sparked. I even showed him the difference between Glow Products ultras and Extreme Glow Ultras. *cough* Extreme Glow Rules *cough*

Over all I had a lot of fun, and really was glad that I went to the hip hop master class. yes, master. It mastered me, geez its fast paced. I used to be able to learn that fast too, I remember. Wow, how long ago it seems. 2004, seems like forever ago.

Thanks for hanging out with me Ken! I forgot how fun it was to dance in a class again.

Here we go again. Kristen, blogging, yet again.
But about what?

Anything she wants!

I used to just rant, but new I can really blog about my crazy movie ideas, my weird dreams that I have, of maybe just update you on my life.

Dear blog of blogger, how are you? Do you think you'll last as long as my old xanga did?

I started that in high school and would blog about my "dramas" of I like him, I'm single, I'm with someone blah. Now I have real drama, like money problems, future problems, and things that make me giddy.

I need to practice some sort of writing again. It will keep up my wit, and kill the non-grammatical boringness out of me... wow that made no sense.

I used to like writing, even if nobody read what I wrote I never would care. It always made me feel better in the end. I think that is what I shall do.

Kristen, (yes third person) be inspirational, use description, use your magical story telling abilities to create happiness in the minions of society!

and as Andrei would say...

Or as Patrick would say,

lets just hope I don't go into the grims of customer service again... well not too much. Sometimes its better to be like that.
